Yukari is a Unifi Dream Machine Pro.
Networks
All networks are defined and controled from the Unifi OS console on Yukari.
Gensokyo
Gensokyo is the local domain for the Lafayette site. The CIDR is 192.168.0.0/24 which includes 192.168.0.1-192.168.0.254.
Internet of Things (IoT)
The IoT network is a VLAN that is isolated from the rest of the network. It is used for devices that do not need to be on the main network, but still need internet access. The CIDR is 192.168.2.0/24. The VLAN ID is 3.
Guest
The guest network is a VLAN that is isolated from the rest of the network. It is used for guests to connect to the internet. The CIDR is 192.168.3.0/24. The VLAN ID is 2.
The guest network is limited to 10MBit/s down and 10MBit/s up.
Wifi
All wifi SSIDs are defined and controled from the Unifi OS console on Yukari.
FalseBlue
This is the main wifi for the house. It is a 5GHz network with a 2.4GHz fallback. Authentication is done via WPA2-Enterprise with an LDPA and RADIUS server hosted on voile.
Falseblue connects clients to the Gensokyo network.
FalseBlue-Basic
This is a backup SSID that operates on WPA2-Personal. The preshared key is stored in LastPass. Only personal services by home members that do not support WPA2-Enterprise should be connected to this network.
Falseblue-Basic connects clients to the Gensokyo network.
Falseblue-IoT
This is the wifi SSID to join internet of things devices to so they have no access to anything local on Gensokyo. The preshared key is stored in LastPass.
Falseblue-IoT connects clients to the IoT network.
FalseBlue-Guest
This is the guest wifi SSID. The preshared key is masonthecat. QR codes are available in the guest room.
